Thursday 5th of March, Eat Central will once again flip into a comedy hotspot. With Grinstock Comedy curating the night, you’re getting a four-act bill led by a comedy MC exactly how a pro club runs it. Grinstock have been delivering award-winning nights for 17 seasons and counting, bringing TV names and national headliners to packed rooms across the South East.
Grinstock Comedy has been nominated twice by Dave TV & Absolute Radio for Comedy Club of the South. So yes, you’re in very experienced hands. Our booking policy is simple: only comics who smash it on the UK touring & television circuit. Think tight writing, big energy, and the kind of punchlines you’ll quote in seminars.

2025 BBC New Comedy Award Finalist
Blank Peng is making her mark as one of the UK’s most distinctive and compelling new comedy talents. She began her comedy journey performing stand-up in Mandarin before moving to London in 2022, committing herself to learning and mastering comedy in English. Since then, she has rapidly carved out a formidable reputation on the UK circuit, becoming a sought-after weekend act at the country’s leading comedy clubs.
Her sharp observations on culture, identity, and everyday life have quickly garnered her industry recognition. She was invited to perform on the Capital Xtra Comedy Gala and has tour-supported some of the country’s top comedians, including Babatunde Aléshé (Taskmaster), Nabil Abdulrashid (Britain’s Got Talent), and Henning Wehn (Would I Lie to You). In 2025, she reached the London Finals of the BBC New Comedy Award and made her UK television debut on BBC Three. She has also lent her talents to doing TV warm-up for The Last Leg on Channel 4.

Bobby Mair is a dark, honest and loud stand up comic. He's toured Europe, Canada and South Africa.
He just starred in his own web series for Comedy Central UK called The Bobby Mair Show. On TV he's appeared on BBC2's Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Ch4's 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC3's Russell Howard's Good News, Sweat The Small Stuff, E4's Virtually Famous, Comedy Central's Live at The Comedy Store and KSI's Demolished. In Canada, he's been on Comedy NOW, Just For Laughs: All Access, The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos, and won $10 000 in Stand Up and Bite Me, a competition on Bite TV. He also wrote this bio. He has no friends to do that for him.
Bill Burr support act, Bobby Mair, is a Canadian comedy force of nature. If you want to see a ‘proper’ comedian, Bobby is the man. Funny, dark, unexpected and just brilliant.

He starred in his own sitcom with his ex-wife on Vice and Comedy Central, called Bobby and Harriet: Get Married. He has appeared multiple times on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, including a battle with his ex-wife that got millions of hits online. He appeared three times at Just For Laughs in Montreal and once appeared on Katie Hopkins TV show just to give the fee from the show to everyone she hates.
