Tony is a highly regarded comedy writer and comedian. Described as 'The best joke writer around' by GQ magazine, he is a regular contributor to a number of programmes and publications. Tony is a rapidfire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners, for laughs-per-minute he's a tough act to beat!

His quick wit has made him a sought after act and compere by comedy clubs and promoters across the UK and even for gigs worldwide. In July 2014, he won third place in the prestigious 'English Comedian of the Year' competition.

Chris Betts began his comedy career in Montreal, Canada and has since performed all across Europe and North America at clubs and festivals such as SXSW (USA), Comedy Box International Comedy Festival (Norway), Dark Comedy Festival (Canada) Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival (UK) and the Zulu Comedy Festival (Denmark). Chris was chosen as part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and he returned to Edinburgh to perform his successful first solo show, Social Animal, in 2015. 

He has been published in the Huffington Post and the Alarmist and voices a number of characters in the cult hit animated comedy Sam Sweetmilk. Chris Betts’ mind is a curious place, where the philosophical meets the ridiculous. His shows are a perfect balance of incisive social satire and complete silliness. 2015 NATYS New Act of the Year (Finalist) and 2014 Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year (Finalist)

Now with over three years of gigs behind him Ben has won and been a finalist at a range of comedy competitions and awards, these include; BBC New Comedian, Laughing Horse New Comedian, Piccadilly Comedy Club, Colchester Comedian of the Year. Fast rising up the ranks and one to watch out for over the year ahead. His Edinburgh show in 2015 was a great hit and has set him up on the UK comedy circuit.
