What the press have to say:
“a confident, laid-back performer with a refreshing honesty and an interesting story to tell. He has some really smart jokes”, The Scotsman – Aug-2014
“Full of laughs, heart-warming, hilarious …A brilliant, truly enjoyable show ★★★★★”, Three Weeks – Aug-2014
“a vibrant, likeable performer who refreshingly encapsulates a young, urban spirit”, Chortle
“an infectiously playful spirit”, Chortle
“the highlight of the evening was support act Ola… his act was thoughtful and reflective and honest. Without proselytizing or falling back on lazy rhetoric, he explored what it’s like to be a Christian black man in the UK today, while being disarmingly frank about his unease at being defined by either his race or religion… his quiet observations will rattle round my head for days to come”, David Vass, Blog
“the sort of enthusiastic, charismatic act likely to be plucked from the circuit by TV producers seeking a presenter to appeal to a youthful demographic”, Chortle
“Standing out, a strong favourite for a through line of continuity who the viewers will grow to love and quote, is the Lord Snooty like character Dr Leon Askwith who breaks down issues intermittently throughout the show.”, Jasmine Dotiwala, Huff Post – review of one of Ola’s characters in Sniggers With Attitude on London Live
