Geoff first made his debut at the Edinburgh Fringe back in the 90’s where he hosted Best of Scottish Comedy. He followed that up with his solo stand-up show, Why? and Noises and Other Announcements, which were both a huge hit. One of the most exciting comics to come out of America, Russell Hicks is branded one of the 'Top Six Comics to Watch' by LA's Stand Up Talk Magazine. He has appeared on LA based panel show Direct TV's 'What's News?' and is a regular guest on hit podcasts such as Talkin' Sh*t with Eddie Ifft.

Headlining the nationally acclaimed student circuit in the United States, Russell regularly takes his hour long solo shows across the country to the biggest universities. Prolific and consistently delivering quality new work, audience members are often compelled to return for two nights in a row. Fast and loose, no two shows are ever the same.

He really is a force to be reckoned with, he holds a unique ability to perform with no prewritten material or jokes, a true master of comedy and an electric performance is always assured whenever he performs.

What the press have to say:

"Hicks has a sharp wit.. the pessimism of Jack Dee mixed with the deadpan aggression of Denis Leary. A rip roaring night of tough love from a witty comedian ****", - Aug-2014

“Russell was great last night in Cranbrook – doing a middle spot between Gary Delaney and Bob Mills was a tall order but he carried it off with aplomb. Given his performance I would be happy to have him at any of my clubs anytime” Lonestar Comedy

"Russell Hicks was a surprising highlight for me – American standup who wove wide-ranging improvisation and interaction with the crowd with deprecating jokes about American stereotypes and a wry swipe back at British culture... very funny.", Ashbourne Voice - Jul-2014

A truly well crafted set – Grinstock Comedy

With jokes funnier then comedians half his age, 75 year James Beaumont is amazing and a must see act.

Jimbo has been doing comedy of different styles for some years now, now 75 he does jokes about age related problems, something I think a lot of us can or will soon be experiencing for ourselves. A dead pan angle to life and an act well worth seeing. Young and old audiences alike love his comedy and he’s had raved reviews.

Kate Lucas.jpg

Award winning musical comedian Kate Lucas is known for her razor sharp and deliciously dark songs. She combines catchy melodies with original lyrics to showcase her playfully bitter musings on life. Audiences have come to expect examples of what not to say and how not to behave from this gloriously talented young comic.

In 2014, she took home the title for the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year and her performances since have been met with huge critical acclaim. She has built a seriously impressive reputation on the circuit, storming it every weekend to packed out crowds at the country’s most famous comedy venues including The Glee Clubs, Banana Cabaret and Up the Creek. Her debut show Whatever Happened to Kate Lucas? was met with huge critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a hit Soho Theatre run in following.

She also currently has two longform scripted projects in development.

With this kind of phenomenal track record, this very special rising star is most definitely one to watch.
